Awana Clubs International
Location:
Oceanside, CA. Oversee “the Jungles of San Diego, CA and Hawaii,” as Gene puts it.
Ministry:
Husband and wife, Gene and Nancy, have been Awana missionaries since 1970.
They use this valuable experience towards starting Awana Clubs, training leadership, running conferences of 1200 leaders, training for the AwanaGames with 1000 kids playing in one day, Bible quizzing, speaking at churches, mission conferences, and helping in international training, to name a few activities.
Pray:
Nancy asks for strength and health for each day. Gene asks for prayer for the required new computer work from ACI which takes a lot of time from ministry on the road. For the training of 15 new churches that will start Awana this year in S.D. and Hawaii.
Pray also for the preparations of the conferences in October in San Diego with 1200 people expected to be in attendance and about 90 workshops, and the Hawaii Conference with 300-350 people attending 40+ classes.
