Jessica is on STINT (short-term international) with a team of seven other young adults. Since January 2007 she has focused primarily on working with and ministering to students at Deakin University and University of Ballarat. Jessica has had the courage to do spiritual interest surveys with students on campus to talk about their beliefs, and on occasion she has been able to share the Gospel with these students. She also leads Bible Studies for seeking non-Christian students, and disciples other Christians. Her team puts on events for fellowship and a weekly Bible Study for all of their students.
Pray:
That the Lord would raise up future leaders from amongst the students who would be committed to the campus movement, and who would be disciple-making disciples. That the Lord would continue to bring students into relationship with Himself, and that He would continue to open doors for her team to share the Gospel with students on campus. And that they would obtain club status on campus, which would give them more flexibility and allow university funding for events.
Pray also for one of the girls Jessica became close friends with last semester, who received Christ, and is now back home in the U.S. Please pray that the Lord would bring Christian women into her life at home to follow up with her and disciple her.
