Frank Wooters
Frank Wooters ironically owes his life to a small group. Though he received Christ into his heart at a young age, he walked away from his faith as a youth. His was not just a passive ignorance of God's plan for his life, but an intentional journey to live his life his way, bad decisions and all.
During this time in his life, his mother and her small group faithfully prayed that God would make the call to his heart too strong for him to ignore and that Frank would be able to return safely to fellowship with God. Those prayers, continuing for many heartwrenching years, were answered as Frank began heeding the tug at his heart to return to the sweet fellowship with Christ.
Frank oversees our Small Groups Ministry, currently consisting of over 70 groups that meet weekly at locations across San Diego, shepherding the leaders and providing training for leaders in each aspect of our church. He also coordinates our Assimilation Ministry, helping to get people connected to Christ and the larger church body. He is married to Prima and has one son, Coleman.
