John Hammond
John was going to write his bio for us, but something broke somewhere so he had to go fix it. For now, we'll say he is married to Bev, his wife of several decades, and is the father of three and grandfather of many more. John started working at CBC as a volunteer, offering his time and talent to our Facilities Department during a break from his incredible career as a Construction Supervisor. A couple of years and many lightbulbs later, he has become an invaluable asset to our church.
More importantly than his dedication to our building and grounds is his commitment to mentoring young men in his charge. John serves as father figure, teacher, life coach, friend and more to a collection of folks that society would write off as hopeless, fostering in them hope and the desire to know God more.
