When should I be baptized?
As soon as a person declares his belief in Christ, he may be baptized. Throughout the book of Acts, Christians were baptized soon after their belief.
- Acts 2:41 “Those who accepted his message were baptized…that day.”
- Acts 8:12 “When they believed…they were baptized.”
- Acts 9:15 & 18 “The Lord said, “This man (Paul) is my chosen instrument.” “He (Paul) got up and was baptized.”
- Acts 16:32 & 34 “They spoke the word of the Lord to him and all the others in this house… then immediately he and all his family were baptized.”
