The Purpose

The purpose of Community Bible Church's Celebrate Recovery Ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God's healing power in our lives through the "8 Recovery Principles" and the "12 Steps." This experience allows us to be changed. We open the door by sharing our experience, strengths, and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God's grace in solving our life problems. By working the Christ-centered steps, and applying their biblical Principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the Principles and the Steps, we discover our personal, loving, and forgiving Higher Power- Jesus Christ.

What's New

Celebrate recovery is held every Friday night. We are currently hosting this ministry in the Oasis venue.  Signs will be posted around the CBC campus to help guide you to the correct building.

The Celebrate Recovery Ministry is compromised of a Dinner/BBQ, worship, large group meeting and open session groups. We encourage you to attend the Dinner/BBQ before the meeting in order to take advantage of fellowship with one another. Below is the schedule for the Friday night ministry.

6:00 PM-7:00 PM Dinner/BBQ ($5.00 per person) & Fellowship

This hour includes delicious food and an opportunity to get to know one another. We are charging $5.00 per person for the Dinner/BBQ because Celebrate Recovery is s self-supported ministry.

7:00 PM-8:00 PM Worship & Large Group Meeting

This hour offers great worship to the Lord led by our own worship team as well as Celebrate Recovery curriculum teachings and personal testimonies.

8:00 PM-9:00 PM Open Session Groups

The last hour is spent in a small group environment where participants are allowed to openly discuss their hurts, habits and hang-ups. It is a great way to connect with others to build accountability and sponsorship relationships. Currently, we have a men's mixed addiction and women's mixed addition open session group.
