The Believer's Battle
1 Tim 6:12 “Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called.”
Dear CBC Family,
This weekend we will continue in our study from two weeks ago exploring the reality of spiritual warfare. This topic is well recorded in scripture yet many people choose to either ignore it, or completely blow it out of proportion, thus leaving the believer without any solid understanding or means of defense. Let’s not be either of those.
Due to the nature of our study, I am anticipating all sorts of hinderances and disruptions to our gathering this weekend. I also expect you will be especially challenged and tempted to stay home. We are not “unaware of Satan’s schemes”. I know that the Lord will bring us the truth that will set people free!
The message is entitled “The Believer’s Battle”. This study will open your eyes to some things you may not be familiar with and thus equip you to be successful against the enemy of your soul. It will also train you in how to engage in the struggle for the souls of the people you love. Entering the battle is not “optional” because we are all in it already. To do nothing is just allowing the enemy to continue his onslaught against people we know. This battle is very real with massive things on the line! I am not exaggerating nor sensationalizing these things.
Please be in prayer and join us as we seek instruction from our Commander and Chief on what is really going on around us and our place in it! This is a great study to bring a person who needs Jesus to……. perhaps the Lord will set them free!
